The backpack is black in colour and has the Queen’s University logo on the front side. There is a front zippered pocket which contains a detachable keychain clip and smaller compartments for holding stationary supplies (i.e. pens or pencils) or other accessories. There is one left side zippered pocket which contains a foam padded pull out pouch and a zippered pocket on the right side of the bag. The lower left and right sides have front mesh pouches for holding bottled drinks or other quick access items. The backpack has two large zippered compartments. The front compartment has a smaller zippered mesh pocket on the upper side. The second compartment is padded and is divided into two sections where back half has a mesh pouch on the front portion and a velcro strap to hold a laptop in place. The backpack straps are padded for added comfort and are adjustable. The right backpack strap has the Canadian flag embroidered on it and has a D ring clip. On the left backpack strap, there is a small mesh pouch to place small items inside. There is a carrying handle on the top of the bag. There are also left and right adjustable straps from the front to the back side of the bag to tighten the width of the backpack.
